Designer Kenneth Cole's is never shy about expressing his political views. He placed a billboard over New York City's West Side Highway in response to the recent shootings in the news that has upset the American Psychiatric Association. The mental health group doesn't like the implication that mental illness causes gun violence.
The billboard reads: "Over 40M Americans suffer from mental illness. Some can access care… All can access guns." The message includes two hashtags: #GunReform and #AreYouPuttingUsOn.
Does the APA have a point or are they missing the bigger message?
