During his 2011 White House Correspondents' Dinner speech President Barack Obama roasted Donald Trump. After hitting Trump on being a birther, he said: “We all know about your credentials and breadth of experience. For example—no, seriously—just recently, in an episode of Celebrity Apprentice”—there was laughter at the mention of the program’s name. Obama explained that, when a team did not impress, Trump “didn’t blame Lil Jon or Meatloaf—you fired Gary Busey. And these are the kinds of decisions that would keep me up at night.” Trump did not seem pleased as the cameras panned to him. However, he later said: “The time I got sort of roasted, I loved that evening..."
This week while welcoming the 2015 Golden State Warriors to the White House, President Obama roasted the team and singled out Steph Curry and Klay Thompson. "It is rare to be in the presence of guys from the greatest team in NBA history. So we're pretty lucky today because we've got one of those players in the house — Steve Kerr, from the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls!
