SF 49ers Quarterback Colin Kaepernick decided to stand for the national anthem at a recent preseason game as his way of protesting the way blacks are treated in America. He announced that will continue to sit during the national anthem. He said: “I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color."
