Is Clinton's proposed National Service Reserve a good idea?

Hillary Clinton proposed a new National Service Reserve this week. The plan would allow Americans who sign up to get paid time off to help out with key service projects such as emergency relief in disaster zones and situations like the Flint water crisis, projects dealing with addiction, or homelessness. Do celebrities impact whether you vote/register?

Katy Perry can often be found stumping for Hillary Clinton, the cast of the West Wing will be in Ohio campaigning for Hillary, "Duck Dynasty" star Willie Robertson supports Donald Trump, and filmmaker Joss Whedon got like half of Hollywood including Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, Keegan-Michael Key, Don Cheadle, James Franco, Jesse Williams, Cobie Smulders, and Neil Patrick Harris to help him with a video campaign aimed at getting as many people to vote as possible. Whedon's videos are more tongue-in-cheek —seriously trying to implore people to vote, while also making fun of political PSAs with tons of celebs.

Should Wells Fargo CEO resign over scandal?

Wells Fargo CEO John Stumpf was grilled by members of the US Senate banking committee this week. Both Republican and Democratic senators including Elizabeth Warren tore into him over the scandal in which Wells Fargo employees opened approx. 2 million checking and credit accounts without customers' knowledge or consent. As Business Insider writes: "Millions of people in the US have had to get a credit check for a mortgage, so when senators suggest that Wells Fargo employees opening and closing a credit card without a customer's knowledge may affect a credit score and lead to a higher interest rate, it's simple to understand the direct ramification."

What do you think? Should Stumpf resign over the scandal?
