Serena Williams has done it - by winning her match against Spain’s Garbine Muguruza, she has captured her sixth Wimbledon title. For the second time in her career, she has won four straight major titles, a feat dubbed the “Serena Slam” twelve years ago when she first managed to earn the achievement. Her victory also made this the 21st Grand Slam title of her career. If she wins the US Open next month, she will also be adding the calendar Grand Slam title to her list of achievements, something that has not been done since 1998.
