Rowling has been tweeting to show her support of #refugeeswelcome in response to the large amount of refugees and migrants that currently have nowhere to go. She has also retweeted posts like petitions calling the U.K. Parliament to accept more refugees.

They have been turned away from Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia and have nowhere else to go. When contacted by The Associated Press, Malaysian Deputy Home Minister Wan Junaidi Jafaar said, “We have to send the right message that they are not welcome here… No one wants them.” Do you think that governments should have the responsibility to take in refugees?
